The Detox Foot Pad from Purify Your Body removes the toxins from the body, which results in the removal of pain and diseases.

The key to healthy living lies in having a clean bloodstream. Contaminated blood is not favorable for good health. The best way to cleanse the bloodstream is to detoxify the body.

The growth process of trees is a boundless source of knowledge and unexplained powers. Even under the worst weather conditions, trees can still grow and flourish for thousands of years on their own. If we could unlock the secret of the trees and apply it to humans, we could find the key to longer life expectancy.
After 26 years of research and development, it was discovered that the wood vinegar essence found in oak, beech and sakura trees has the ability to absorb toxins, on top of other beneficial medical properties. The Detox Foot Pad’s toxin absorbent is made from a unique combination of wood vinegar essence, and eight other ingredients.

According to Chinese medical knowledge, our human body has over 360 acupuncture points, with more than 60 found on the soles of the feet. The feet are known as the 2nd heart because they are the reflective zones of our major internal organs. They are also the favorite homes for toxins. When the blood circulates to the soles of our feet, the Foot pad extracts the toxins from the acupuncture points. The pad is normally applied to the soles of the feet.

After only one night of application, there will be significant changes to the smell and color of the pad. The white pad will turn darker, from brown to grayish black; there will be a visible reduction in the stain and odor of the pad, indicating the effective extraction of toxins from the body.

In addition, there are also reports of success for patients suffering from migraines, fibromyalgia, inflammation, rheumatism, kidney problems, painful and swollen legs, insomnia and headaches.

The Detox Foot Pads help the body achieve its optimum state of health by improving blood circulations, increasing metabolism, activating blood cells, providing relief for joint pains, enhancing quality sleep and expelling unhealthy bodily fluids.

Besides its holistic healing effects, it is also safe to use. The Detox Foot Pads do not make medication less effective. In fact, the removal of toxins from the body will make the medication work more effectively. The pads remove only cellular wastes from the body. They are like garbage men…. The pads only pick up what has already been thrown away. They have been shown to pull out toxic metals, like mercury, arsenic, cadmium, lead and even nicotine!

CLEAN YOUR BODY NOW!!!

Thu, 02 Sep 2010 12:24:04 -0700 Do Detox Foot Pads Work? http://rhauptman.posterous.com/do-detox-foot-pads-work http://rhauptman.posterous.com/do-detox-foot-pads-work I am asked this question quite often by my friends, after they learn about Purify Your Body and my detox foot pads that I sell. I love this question, because I can tell them all the evidence that I have, but the best way to make them believers is to have them try it for themselves. So I give them some samples, and tell them how to go about using them. If they have migraines, or sinus or allergy issues, I tell them to put them on their toes. If they have breathing issues, then I tell them to put them on the balls of their feet. Then, I let my foot pads do the rest.

Granted, there is a huge difference in say, kinoki detox foot pads, and mine. Also a huge difference in my foot pads compared to the popular Japanese ones that advertise "gold" patches, or "silver" patches. See, they have fillers in them. Fillers, like cornstarch. (disguised as vegetable fiber or dextrin in their ingredients list) It isn't going to harm you, but it is a cheap filler to make their foot pads less expensive to manufacture. And of course, more profit for them. Greedy bastards! In some of them, they have over 50% of this "filler" material. That means that even if they have the important ingredients (wood vinegars, tourmaline, etc) they have at least 50% less than my detox foot pads.

I offer a money back guarantee as well, because I know mine will work. And, I offer free shipping, to the U.S. and military bases. I love our military, and am happy to say I have quite a few customers that are actively serving our country. I feel good about offering them a great deal on a great product, and usually throw in an extra pack as a "thank you".

So, to get to the root of the question "Do Detox Foot Pads Work?" I will focus on Purify Your Body's brand of detox pads only. Because I KNOW for a certainty that they work. (and they are usually cheaper than the other brands, to boot!)

1. Testing.
There are two different types of testing that I had done. One, was very expensive and was looking for microbes, heavy metals, plastic by products, etc. and it was done at a University lab here in town. These types of tests run in the hundreds of dollars. When I had my test done, I was amazed at what was found. There were many different types of heavy metals, PCBs, chemical substances that I didn't recognize the name for, ethyl alcohol, etc. They also tested an unused, unopened foot pad. They told me that they need something to compare it to. So that got me thinking about having a "control" -- many different types of research studies use "controls" to establish a baseline. Well, you learn something new everyday, and it makes sense!

The second type of test is a simple test done using a syncrometer. This is usually around $25-$50 per pair of foot pads. Whether you decide to use one of the pair as a "control" well, that is your decision to make. I ran one under water, I sent a blank one, and I sent one from my left and from my right foot. Yes, the one with water came back with some heavy metals, which made me want to not use my faucet again. The control was blank from the specific contaminants they test for (they test for a list of substances, and test negative or positive for that specific substance, i.e. for mercury, or for arsenic, or for cadmium, or aluminum, etc.). The foot pads that I had used were disgustingly filled with almost all toxins they tested for. (well, I think like 8 out of 15, which to me is very bad). A few months later, I tested myself again and had only 4 toxins show up in my foot pads. Then I felt a bit better.

I had a customer whose granddaughter had just gotten home from the doctors office -- diagnosed with lead poisoning! She gave me the specific ppm that the tests revealed. She decided to use my foot pads on her 3-year old granddaughter. After a month, they went back to the doctor for a follow up test. Her lead levels were well within what the doctors say is a safe level. Amazing!

So, there are a few ways to test... to prove that my detox foot pads really do work.

2. Putting them under water will make them dark, just like a tea bag.
I mentioned before that I put a clean detox foot pad under water and had it tested. The foot pads WILL turn dark if you put water or other liquid on them. The reason is because they are filled with herbs. A tea bag turns dark as well, when you seep it in hot water. However, it doesn't get "gooey" like the foot pads are when I take them off my feet in the morning. They aren't sticky in the same way. I challenge anyone who thinks this is a hoax, to request a sample from me, and put water on one, and then use the other on their feet, and compare. There is a difference.

3. They can be used for more than just a detox
.
The foot pads are great for detoxing. They work the best on your feet because it is convenient, you have your acupoints on your feet, and it is all linked to your lymphatic system. But beyond the detox, they are great at helping with swelling and inflammation. If you have a sprain, or gout, or arthritis on your hands or feet, put them directly on those areas. As long as the skin is not broken, or you don't have any open wounds, this will work. Sometimes the foot pads will not turn dark, but may become hardened, as if a clear liquid was pulled out... this is uric acid. If you suffer from gout, then you will love these foot pads!

4. A company shouldn't hide their ingredients.
Look for a company that will tell you the ingredients, and the percentage of each ingredient. Make sure it adds up to 100% so they aren't hiding anything from you. You don't want any dextrin or vegetable fiber in your foot pads. As I mentioned in the beginning of this article, you won't be hurting yourself with those ingredients -- except maybe your pocketbook. These are considered fillers, and won't make for a good detox. I have heard people claim that they help "asborb" the toxins, but that is what the chitosan is for. Chitosan is an important ingredient because it can absorb up to 400x its weight in impurities. They use it for oil spills, and it really binds those toxins together. A few people are allergic to shellfish, but only if you are so severely allergic that you can't touch a shellfish, should you avoid these. (And, if you have any concerns, I can send you a free sample to test before you place your order).

5. Sweating.
Some people say that the goo is your feet sweating. Really? If your feet sweat that much, you need to go see a doctor, seriously. And, if my detox foot pads just reacted to my feet sweating (which they rarely sweat, only in very dire circumstances, like when I am in a sauna), why do they eventually come clean in the morning? If it was my sweat that was making the foot pads so dark and gooey every night, then why, after months of use, do they stop becoming gooey? To answer that, it is because I am DETOXING MY BODY, not because I all of the sudden stopped that weird feet sweat. Granted, I do know people who get clammy feet, and somewhat sweaty feet (and they need to use those odor eaters in their shoes). That is somewhat normal, but will NOT cause the reaction you are getting from the detox foot pads. This is actually one of the most common reasons why people think the detox foot pads are a hoax. I think it is kinda funny. Come on. Think for yourself. There is no way that can truly be the reason!! Logic, people!!

6. Customer service is very important.
Do you get a timely response to your emails? If not, then the foot pad company you are going through is not customer-oriented. Granted, I wish I could take phone calls, but since I am a one-person show, and work in the day, I can't answer calls. But I am always willing to call people back, and current customers do have my phone number if they want it. I respond within a couple hours via email. Sometimes I respond within 5 minutes, or even at 2am. I have about 3,000 customers, and quite a few of them are repeat customers that order every month from me. I get to know them pretty well. These customers have my phone number and can easily place an order over the phone with me just by calling me when they want to. I love answering questions, whether by email or by a phone call. So please, shoot me your questions about the detox foot pads!

7. Anecdotal evidence doesn't lie.
Let's say you have had migraines for over 15 years, and they were only getting more frequent. And your doctor keeps giving you drugs to help prevent them, or to control them once you get a migraine attack. And nothing works. And then, you start using the detox foot pads, and after about a month of using them on your toes (correlates to your head reflexology point), you realize you haven't had a migraine that week, and then as the weeks go on, you realize that it has been a long time since you had a migraine. Up until you maybe get one migraine a year vs. 5-6 migraines per month. That was my personal story, and the MAIN reason why I fell in love with the detox foot pads and created my own business selling them. I KNEW they work. They made such a huge difference in my life. Migraines are absolutely horrible. The pain that I get in my head is not even the worst part of it for me. The nausea, sensitivity to sound, light and smells, the jittery feeling I get. Those are more horrible to me than the painful pounding in my head. The aura, preceding the visual "disturbances" that I used to get, are so horrible. I am so grateful for my detox foot pads. I have since realized that certain things cause triggers for me -- MSG, aspartame, and other chemicals. If I do eat those things, and get sick, I just wear foot pads that night to make me feel better by morning, and it works.

Another incident of anecdotal evidence consists of a friend of mine who suffers from gout. He has suffered from gout for over 20 years. And maybe about 2-3 times a year he will have a bout. After giving him some detox foot pads to try one morning, he told me that by early afternoon he was able to walk without pain, and the foot pad was soaking with goo. I know that this had to have been the result of the foot pads, not because he miraculously stopped a 5-8 day bout of gout on the first morning, just out of the blue.

These types of experiences are very common. And using logic, and the brain God gave us, we can note that these results were because of the detox foot pads.

8. Pricing.
I have a very high quality detox foot pad, and purchase them from a factory overseas that gets audited, and is FDA registered. (FDA registration really doesn't mean anything, but I will touch upon that point later). Since I work out of my home, I do not jack up my prices very much. My margins are very low. I don't mind, because I make up for it in quantity, for all the orders that I ship out. Ultimately, a good detox foot pad should not cost you more than about $1.00 to $1.50 per foot pad. If the company sells a good detox foot pad (high quality like mine), but it is about $4.00 per foot pad (or $40 per pack), then you know they are either gouging you, or are not good business people and have such a high overhead cost that they need to charge that amount. My low quantities are a bit over $1.00 each (My 10-pack costs $20) but that is because I don't want to compete with my resellers. They are the ones what sell the 10-pack more than I do. It is one of the least purchased quantities from my website.

If you see a brand of foot pads that has dextrin, cornstarch, vegetable fiber, etc. in them (remember the fillers I wrote about above), then you should not pay more than $0.50 per foot pad for those. MAX. They are not going to be BAD for you, but they really are a cheap version of them and are not potent at all. You will need at least double the amount of foot pads to get the same detox, so 50 cents per pad seems right.

Also, I offer free shipping to all U.S. addresses. One of my pet peeves is finding a product that I want to buy, for a fantastic price, and then realize the shipping/handling charges are outrageous, ultimately making it a bad deal. So, I found a way to offer free shipping, and that way you know what your final cost is before you even put your product in the shopping cart.

9. FDA registration.
Purify Your Body is registered with the FDA. What that basically means is that I filled out a lot of paperwork, and submitted it to the FDA for approval, and then received an FDA registration number. This helps me when getting my shipments in from overseas, and having to go through customs. It doesn't mean the FDA approves of my product, or has reviewed it. It just means I am a legitimate company, and have registered myself with their agency. It is not "FDA Approved" -- if it were, it would cost millions of dollars in testing, studies, etc. There are no detox foot pad companies out there that are FDA approved.

10. Testimonials.
I have a ton of testimonials. Why aren't they on my website? Why don't I post them everywhere? Well, that is a good question. First, I am not allowed by law, to say that my product can cure any illness or disease. (My customers have to figure that out by themselves, which is why I am glad I have smart customers). I can not advertise this, either. As a result, it could be a fine line between having a testimonial on the website, and having the FDA say that I am making an unsubstantiated claim. And, they can pull my website if they so feel like it. I don't want that. So, I am playing their game and just being as basic as I can.

I also keep telling myself that I am going to create a testimonial sheet, from all the stories my customers have sent in to me, but I fear that my laziness has gotten the best of me, and I haven't done it yet. I still plan on doing it, but will I get it done this year? Probably not. I feel like I am a procrastinator in some things, this being one of them.

I really am excited about my detox foot pads. Yeah, I know, I have been selling them for over 5 years now. But yet I am still very excited about this method of detox. I will tell you why. But first -- I always remind people that detox foot pads CAN be a scam if you do not make sure your foot patches are 100% pure ingredients and free of fillers. Fillers (dextrin, Vegetable fiber) are basically cornstarch. They have no beneficial reason to be in the foot pad, other than because it is dirt cheap and they can make more money off you. (in the long run they lose customers -- because you won't be a repeat customer). More than 75% of my customers are repeat customers. The percentage is increasing, too!

So here are the reasons why my foot detox pads are great:

1. This is an extremely easy way to detoxify your body. It is not harsh on your body at all. You can't detox your body too quickly with this method. With other methods you can get sick quickly, if you detox too fast (it is called the detox reaction, and the #1 reason why people do not finish detoxing.)
2. The detox foot pads get out many heavy metals, plastics, chemicals and other toxins.
3. The BEST reason why my detox foot pads just totally rock, are because they are a unique way of detoxing. Many other detox products require you to commit to it for a month at a time, or 3 months, or 6 weeks... and if you stop, the benefits are gone... you have to complete their whole plan or you lose any benefits that you have gained. With my detox foot pads, you get to set your own schedule. If you want a quicker detox, you can use 3 per foot per night. This may only take a month or so to get your body fully detoxed. If you decide to use the foot pads only on the weekends (like me), then it may take you a full year of wearing only one on each foot. These two examples both use about 200 foot pads, but are very different in the process. Even if you faithfully use the detox pads for a full month, then stop using them for 6 months, the benefits you got from the first month are still there. Those toxins didn't come back into your body! Even one night is beneficial.

I have included a chart to show you the toxins that showed up in my foot pads about 3 years ago. The N represents negative (that specific toxin was not in the foot pads) and the P represents positive.

Mon, 12 Apr 2010 04:29:25 -0700 new batch of detox foot pads has arrived! http://rhauptman.posterous.com/new-batch-of-detox-foot-pads-has-arrived http://rhauptman.posterous.com/new-batch-of-detox-foot-pads-has-arrived I got my latest shipment of detox foot pads from my supplier overseas. While there is a big "taboo" about buying from overseas vs. made in the USA, unfortunately there are no factories that can make the detox foot pads here in the US. But... I make sure the factory is audited, and registered with the FDA. My company is also registered with the FDA. I do have to pay a tad more for that, but it is worth it to me for peace of mind. And, I think it gives my customers peace of mind to know they have a high quality detox foot pad that they are using.

I have to say I have not been wearing the detox foot pads lately -- for at least the past 6 months, I would wear them maybe occasionally on the weekends (once a month?). So I tried this new batch, I do like to make sure it works well... I can attest that it does work well. I do not like to wear them at night on the weeknights because I workout and shower at night before bed, and then get up so early in the morning that I do not have time to wash my feet in the tub... I need to start wearing them AT LEAST every weekend, and on those nights I workout in the sauna, because it pulls toxins out within 3 hours my foot pads are soaking with toxins (and sweat -- but that is another story)

I have found that the adhesives for these detox foot pads, you really don't want to walk around on them too much if you can avoid it, or they are harder to take off. Well, the detox foot pads are easy to take off still, but the adhesive residue is easier left on the feet.

I also got an upgrade to my new silver foil pouches. They look like chrome -- I love them. I choose not to use boxes because they are a waste of space, a waste of trees, and are not environmentally friendly. That is why I just use the pouches. (The boxes would not cost me any more -- it is not a matter of cost as much as it is a desire to help the environment and not cause unnecessary trash and garbage in our landfills.

Have a great day everyone!
Rebecca

I just want to say that my detox foot pads CAN help pull these toxins out of your system!! Why do we allow our bodies to go through so much havoc? We need to take care of ourselves, and sometimes that means we NEED to supplement, or detox... Unless we live a perfectly healthy lifestyle in a bubble, this won't affect us. But I am telling you, that is next to impossible. Try the detox foot patches. See if they make a difference in your health. They have a money back guarantee! This article is from Cancer Defeated newsletter...               -Rebecca

Food and drink containers are made with known carcinogens

It's nearly everywhere, in a huge number of products… and studies show that it's found in the urine of 95 percent of Americans.
It's called Bisphenol A, or BPA for short. It's widely used in the production of plastic food containers and as a protective liner in metal cans (your soda can, for example).
It became widely used in the 1950s when scientists first discovered its uses in the food and beverage industry. Never mind that twenty years earlier BPA was already understood to be toxic.1
Early warnings of toxicity were ignored or forgotten. BPA is now in the top two percent of high-production chemicals in the U.S., with annual production exceeding one billion pounds (1993 numbers — by now it's surely increased). In a moment I'll suggest easy ways to avoid it. First let me explain WHY to avoid it.

BPA's Far-Reaching Tentacles...

During the past twenty years, scientists have detected BPA in breast milk, serum, saliva, urine, amniotic fluid, and cord blood from at least 2,200 people in Europe, North America, and Asia.2
Center for Disease Control researchers found BPA in 95% of 400 U.S. adults it tested.3
It's so common in products and industrial waste that it pollutes not just people… but also rivers, estuaries, sediment, house dust and even air.
Environmental Working Group tested 97 food cans for BPA — name-brand fruit, veggies, and soda. They found that chicken soup, infant formula, and ravioli had the most frightening BPA levels. Just 1-3 servings at these concentrations could expose a woman or child to BPA at levels that caused serious adverse effects in animal studies.4
Since it's practically everywhere — and IN everyone -- wouldn't you agree it's important to understand what it might do to your health?
Is BPA an innocent chemical or a carcinogenic nightmare waiting for a place to happen? It all depends on whose studies you believe. Here's what I've been able to find. . .

What is BPA, Anyway?

BPA is a precursor chemical for polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resins. It is not an additive, and there is no reason or purpose for it to be added to plastics.
As a polycarbonate, it's used in 'sports' bottles, dental sealants, cell phones, computers and other electronic equipment, eyeglasses, medical devices, CDs and DVDs, and more. It is also in infant-formula cans and many clear plastic baby bottles.
Epoxy resins are used as protective liners in metal cans ... as well as in printed circuit boards, composites, paints, adhesives, and other protective coatings.
BPA was developed in 1891 as a synthetic estrogen. That should set off your alarm bells right away, if you know much about carcinongens (substances that cause cancer).

BPA's Potential Link to Cancer

Numerous studies suggest BPA is linked to cancer, either directly or indirectly. Here's a quick sampling of published research. The CEHRER (Center for Evaluation of Risks to Human Reproduction) had 465 studies on record from 1993 and 2006, so I had lots to choose from...
  • BPA caused persistent changes to breast tissue. Breast cells became predisposed to cancer, hormonal changes.5 6
  • Prostate cells became more sensitive to hormones and cancer7 8
  • Exposure led to an error in cell division, causing cancer, among other issues.9
  • Low doses spurred formation and growth of fat cells, linked to obesity, which is a risk factor for cancer.10
In 1993 BPA's signature toxic property — its ability to mimic estrogen — was accidentally discovered in a failed lab experiment.11
The broad toxicity of BPA is thought to stem from the fact that it can alter the behavior of over 200 genes12 — which control the growth and repair of most every organ and tissue in your body.
As a whole, the toxic effects linked to BPA are strikingly similar to health problems found across the entire population — breast and prostate cancer, diabetes (see Issue #13 about diabetes' possible connection with cancer; you can check it out at cancerdefeatednewsletter.com), obesity, infertility and polycystic ovarian syndrome.

What Do the Leading Experts Believe about BPA?

In August 2007, 38 of the world's leading scientific experts on BPA published a consensus statement about its potential threat to our health.
In preparation, these experts spent six months studying more than 700 published studies on BPA. Then they spent days discussing and sorting the literature into three levels of scientific confidence:
  1. We are absolutely certain of…
  2. We believe the following to be likely, but require confirmation…
  3. Areas of uncertainty needing further research…
Among the findings they were absolutely certain about…
  • Average levels of BPA in people are above those that cause harm to lab animals in experiments. Levels causing adverse effects in animals are lower than what is already in people.
  • Humans may metabolize BPA faster than animals — meaning that daily human exposure is in effect even higher.
  • BPA causes organizational changes in the prostate, breast, testes, and mammary glands. In addition it affects the body size, brain structure and chemistry, and behavior of lab animals.
So, seems pretty clear it's dangerous... where's the controversy?

The FDA Strikes Again

It all depends on who you listen to...
The National Toxicology Program (NTP) — the scientific research arm of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) — reported in September 2008 'some concern' that BPA harms your brain and reproductive system.
Despite the fact that FDA is supposed to listen to the advice of the NTP, they came out with their own ruling before the NTP report...
Declaring that "at current levels of exposure" BPA is safe. The FDA's own science board questioned the finding, but the FDA still refused to change its position.
Absurd enough yet?
Fast Company (Feb. 1, 2009) decided to investigate this strange approach to "science".
They stated the BPA controversy may be more about a battle to protect a multi-billion-dollar industry from regulation than a scientific dispute.
BPA is worth over $6 billion per year to the five companies that produce it. These companies each referred Fast Company's questions about BPA safety to their trade association, American Chemistry Council (ACC).
ACC's response?
"No, there isn't anything to be concerned about. In a sense you could have 'some concern' about just about anything," says Steve Hentges, their spokesman on BPA.
So, let's get this straight...
Of the 100 independently funded experiments (per Fast Company's numbers), 90% found evidence of adverse health effects.
On the other hand, every single industry-funded study ever conducted — a total of 14 — found no ill effects.
Sounds strangely suspicious, wouldn't you agree?
Regulators paid attention only to industry-funded studies… largely thanks to a group of 'product defense consultants' — funded by the chemical industry — who sowed doubt about any BPA negative effects.
These 'product defense consultants' borrowed the playbook from the storm over tobacco and asbestos.
When it was time to make a decision, the FDA chose to ignore a wide array of studies from peer-reviewed journals, placing heavy emphasis on unpublished industry-funded studies instead.
It looks like industry insiders were 'in bed' with the FDA to stall regulation.
Not all commercial interests are falling for the FDA's and plastic industry's opinion, though.
  • Nalgene Outdoor Products announced that it would quit production of its polycarbonate containers that include BPA and bring out a BPA-free line.
  • Wal-Mart announced it would stop selling baby bottles with BPA, effective in 2009.
  • Canada moved to outlaw BPA from baby bottles.
Whichever way you weigh in on this still-raging controversy, for the sake of your health, I urge you to err on the side of caution and rid your life of BPA as much as possible.
Ditto for your children, especially during pregnancy and early childhood — a particularly high-risk time for BPA exposure.

How to Cut Your Risk of BPA Exposure

Since BPA won't likely be regulated any time soon, it's time to take matters into your own hands to protect yourself and your loved ones. Here are some easy ideas:
  • Use glass, ceramic containers, or stainless steel for storing food — no plastics.
  • Never heat plastics in the microwave, put them in the dishwasher, or pour hot food or liquid into them. Use glass, ceramics, or stainless steel for hot items.
  • Don't use #3 or #7 plastics for food or beverage. #1, #2, and #5 are considered safe. You'll find these numbers inside a triangle on the bottom of the plastic.
  • Avoid canned food as much as possible. Cook with fresh ingredients.
  • Use only glass baby bottles (and sports bottles), stainless steel, or one of the new plastics that are BPA-free.

Mon, 22 Feb 2010 06:28:51 -0800 Today's quick health tip: plastic water bottles http://rhauptman.posterous.com/todays-quick-health-tip-plastic-water-bottles http://rhauptman.posterous.com/todays-quick-health-tip-plastic-water-bottles Today's health tip:

Don't re-use plastic water bottles! You could be leaking plastic/BPA into your system! If you so use them often, be sure to detox your body with the detox foot patches. It is very important to get those toxins out of your body.

Later on, I will write about the benefits of Far Infrared Saunas and how they can change your health!

My name is Rebecca and I started Purify Your Body as a hobby/passion because I was very interested in natural health and wellness. I also had a lot of extra time on my hands, and was able to devote the evenings and weekends to creating my website, providing great customer service, and most importantly of all, providing the highest quality detox foot pad out there on the market today. I offer low prices because I have a great day job that I love, and don’t have to rely on my sales of these foot pads to pay my bills! I have been in business for over five blessed years now, and I know that my success has stemmed as a result of offering the highest quality foot pads along with great customer service!

I am very adamant about offering a detox foot pad that does not contain fillers. I see a lot of foot pads out there that contain over 50% fillers, and refuse to degrade the quality of mine just to save a buck. So know that when you are using these foot pads, they are the best quality.

My tips for you when you first try these are to put 3 foot detox pads on each foot the first night: on your toes, on your arches and on your heels. In the morning, look at the pads and see what area of your foot is leeching out the most “goo” and then on the subsequent nights, focus on the area that you observed is pulling out the most toxins. That is the correlating area of your body that may be containing the most toxins. You are welcome to put 3 pads on each foot per night, or as you see fit. There is no “right” way to use these pads. Other information you might want to know, as it is frequently asked of me:

Q: Is the brownish “goo” in the morning a result of a reaction to my feet sweating?

A: While the footpads turn dark if exposed to water (just like tea bags would) the “goo” you see is actually toxic matter that has been leeched through your lymphatic system and out your feet. If you continue to use the foot pads until you are “detoxed” you will notice that they don’t come out gooey in the morning anymore. This dispels the fallacy that sweat is what is creating the results you see. You also can get them analyzed in an independent lab, and find out what toxins YOU have in your body!

Q: How long does a detox take for a normal person?
A:
This depends on so many factors, including how often you are exposed to toxins (in your drinking water, food, the air you breathe, the chemicals you ingest, even your carpet may emit toxins!) On AVERAGE here in the US, I would have to say that a 2-3 month detox is normal per area of your foot. If you are sick or battling an illness or cancer, it could take more than a year of constant use! But even if you use the pads for only one month, you are doing a great service to your body and should be feeling more energy, better sleep, less illness.

Q: How do I know that the foot pads only take out the BAD stuff? What about medications I am on, etc?
A:
The foot pads work by pulling toxins out of your lymphatic system, and it is in your lymphatic system where your body stores the toxins – which for most of us becomes stagnant. Our bodies are so overwhelmed with toxins in this modern industrial age that it doesn’t know how to rid itself of them, as it was never exposed to them before! They are safe to use with medication and any supplements you may be taking.

Q: How do the foot pads work?
A
: Through the process of osmosis (remember from high school biology?) It is the same process that allows trees to get their nutrients from the ground through their root system, but yet nourish the leaves on their farthest branches. It is this “tree sap” or wood vinegars, that allow this process to work.

CAUTION: if you are allergic to mushrooms or shellfish, please be very cautious when using this product, as it contains those ingredients. While they do not absorb INTO your body (rather the pads pull things FROM your body), I still like to warn anyone who may be severely allergic. Also, if you are in your first trimester of pregnancy, please don’t use them for long periods of time.

If you have any questions about the use of these pads, please email me at sales@purifyyourbody.com and I normally respond within a few hours! Thank you!
